Nike like to bling out their classic silhouettes with Swarovski crystals, pearls and more, and now another throwback sneaker has gotten pearl embellishments: the Dunk High. Joining other old school Swoosh kicks like the Air Force 1 and the Air Max Plus, this Dunk High offers up a monochromatic colour scheme and luxurious pearl stud detailing, making for a blink-and-you'll-miss-it touch of flair.
From collar flap to mudguard, from Swoosh to heel tab, this high-cut Dunk is made of white leather. Each shoe is stark, crisp, and largely detail-free – save for its eight small silver pearl studs, four on the lateral side and four more on the medial side. These studs appear below the bottom eyestays and the collar flap's eyelets, adding a touch of metallic flair, and, in some cases a miniature Swoosh.
At the time of writing, Nike have yet to announce a release date for the Dunk High 'Pearl.' Keep it locked to SF for updates on its drop as soon as they're made available, and expect to shell out $110 to secure one of these pearly pairs when they release.
