The Nike Dunk High ‘I Got Next’ is for Young Ballers

are celebrating the next generation of basketball stars and enthusiasts by releasing the ‘I Got Next’ pack exclusively in kids’ sizes. It was only expected that the would be included in this collection, and to sweeten the deal for pint-sized sneakerheads, it’s packed full of details that only those with feet smaller than size 7Y can appreciate on foot.
Dunks aren’t afraid of colour – they’ve been decorated in all sorts of hues since 1985 – and because this a Grade School release, there is plenty of reason to make them as bright as possible. Which this pair achieves with shades of blue in cyan and aqua tones spread across the main upper panels. There are mismatched lateral and medial Swooshes that are royal blue and lavender purple respectively. For extra contrast, white appears on the mid panel and midsole; the latter meeting an iced-out outsole.
As far as the basketball connection goes, for one, the shoe is obviously a basketball model. Beyond that, the insoles display a dusky scene with a silhouetted backboard above ‘I Got Next’ text. This phrase is repeated on the lateral heel panel.
