Nike Cover the Air Force 1 ‘Happy Pineapple’ in Cork
Nike have recently been messing around with small graphic hits on some of their signature models, and the ‘Happy Pineapple’ has been the main attraction. Having already adorned the Air Max 90, Air Max 95, and Air Zoom Type Premium, the ‘Happy Pineapple’ is preparing to hit the Air Force 1, but with a couple of obvious differences.
Pics have just come through from a Japanese magazine called GetNavi, alongside an on-foot look. And the leaked imagery tells us that this isn’t a regular ‘Happy Pineapple’ iteration because the whole upper has been doused in cork – which has seen its own resurgence this year. Alongside the light brown upper is matching brown laces, and a midsole that we’re assuming has been created using ground cork. A textured leather Swoosh has been planted on either side with a white midsole completing the look.
So far, this cork-adorned Nike Air Force 1 ‘Happy Pineapple’ has no release details or official confirmation. As usual though, we’ll keep you updated when more info comes through.
