Nike By You Is Leaving Australia

have been making some pretty drastic moves in 2025 to try and claw back lost marketshare, including a longtime and the refocus on sport. Recently, they made some big announcements that will affect Australian sneakerheads, including that Nike By You will be leaving the country.

Nike By You started in 2000 and at the time it was known as Nike iD until it was rebranded in 2019. It was the first of its kind and allowed consumers to create their own one-of-one sneakers. They would also come through every now and then with special material drops and collaborations. The best part of Nike iD was that it wasn’t overly expensive when compared to retail and gave the average joe the ability to create something usually reserved for signature athletes.

Nike Australia announced yesterday that on April 7, Nike By You won’t be available to order online anymore. If you want to get in before it closes, you have until April 6 to put in your orders.
