The Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 continues to enjoy a steep come up in 2022, the 1990s hooper tapped for collaborations with both Supreme and Drake’s NOCTA in recent months.

Debuting in 1995, the Air Zoom Flight 95 quickly became a cult favourite thanks to its eccentric, bug-eyed carbon fibre ovals on the midsoles. The silhouette also enjoyed a hugely successful print and television marketing blitz, which featured the memorable ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Televised’ campaign.

In terms of the NBA fraternity, the Air Zoom Flight 95 was inextricably tied to Jason Kidd, a young Dallas Mavericks point guard on a rapid rise. But it was also laced by several other NBA players including Juan Howard (who wore them during the 1996 NBA All-Star Game) and Brent Barry, a high-flying rookie from the L.A. Clippers.

The latest colourway of the Air Zoom Flight 95 to arrive is the ‘White/Red’, the very same composition the aforementioned Brent Barry wore during his 1996 Slam Dunk Contest win. Manufactured in its classic nubuck and carbon fibre on the uppers, the silhouette again adopts Nike Air Zoom cushioning below (the model was one of the first sneakers to adopt Nike's new technology).

Look for the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 ‘White/Red’ to land over the coming weeks.
