The Nike Air Trainer SC High Revisits the Raiders

The is getting another retro run in the 2020s, after being a prominent part of the Swoosh’s retro offering in the prior decade. With this historical reverence continuing for the model’s third decade of existence, it’s only expected that it revisit some nostalgic colourways. For example, this incoming edition uses the black and grey palette best associated with the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team.
Those of age and/or sports history inclination will recognise that A, the Air Trainer SC High is best associated with all-rounder Bo Jackson, and B, the sports star had spent his entire NFL stint playing for the Raiders. While the team colours have appeared on this model multiple times before, each variation always offers a point of difference. This upcoming release opts for multiple textures, ranging from smooth black leather overlays to perforated panel inserts. Woven midfoot straps highlight a defining feature of the model, while the milky ice sole is something of a historical revision. Grey accents on the Swoosh and lace hardware nod back to the Raiders inspiration.
With the onset of this colourway, plus another slated retro of the OG, expect more Nike Air Trainer SC Highs to arrive in coming months.
