Year in, year out, Nike are constantly working on their next Air-novation, creating hectic hybrid Air Max models that shape the future of the iconic Team Swoosh tech. The latest addition to the roster has been given the moniker ’Scorpion’ and is as deadly as it is eye-catching! Leaks began to emerge around the tail-end of 2021, and it wasn’t until July that we received our first official look, with Nike beginning their rollout midway through September. Finally, the ‘Lemon Wash’ colourway, aka ‘Phantom’, has been locked in to hit shelves.

Interestingly, this silhouette was created entirely during the pandemic and long lockdowns throughout 2020 and 2021. The upper of this shoe boasts PrimeKnit, with interwoven Swoosh details on the lateral and medial. Elsewhere, the midsole is entirely composed using a giant Air bag, which is reminiscent of the VaporMax and Air Max 720.
