Nike Give the Air Max Plus a Luxe Revamp

have been on a roll with their releases these past few months. Continuing their streak, the Swoosh have revealed two new colourways set to be added to the coveted silhouette – however, they've also given the construction a new makeover.
While the toggle feature isn't new, the laces aren't wrapped around the upper and instead are still criss-crossed like the OG lacing. Combined with the large mesh tongue, it's gives off Salomon vibes and perhaps hints that Nike want this iteration worn hiking. The outdoorsy vibe continues with a ripstop mesh base, along with a pre-scuffed midsole. Further elevating this luxe makeover are the bold double-layered nubuck overlays with exposed stitching. The TN's signature wonky Swoosh is still there of course, sitting pretty on the chunky overlays in an accent colour.
The official colourway names have not been disclosed yet, but the two iterations arrive in a similar neutral theme with one leaning more towards pink hues and the other to brown. Finally, the Air Max logo on the tongue and insole has been altered to resemble a heart rate line.
A price point and release date have yet to be confirmed by Nike, but we imagine it might be more than the average $175 tag given the new elements of the shoe. Stay tuned while we wait for more details to surface.
