This year, Nike has made their Air Max Plus a priority, bringing back plenty of OG colourways from throughout the late-90s and early-2000s. For 2023, Team Swoosh have already resurrected the ‘Rainbow’ from 1999 and ‘Petrol Blue’, now known as the ‘Celestine Blue’. Next up, Beaverton are looking to 2008 and will bring back the ‘Light Year Blue’, which they’re calling ‘Light Photography’.

Originally, this pair released throughout Europe and Asia alongside its orange counterpart. One of the most eccentric TN colourways of all time, the upper has no protruding veins and instead opts for a smooth full-mesh base in an alternating blue pattern. The usual TPU overlays and mudguard are represented by ‘Ice Blue’ graphics. Elsewhere, the tongue, toecap and heel have been draped in a shiny finish complemented by white laces and midsole.

No exact release date has been locked in for the Blue Nike Air Max Plus ‘Light Photography’, but pairs should be landing soon at your local Swoosh stockist.
