This Nike Air Max Plus Comes with Custom Carabiners!
Nike caused quite a commotion earlier this week by strapping a functional carabiner to the Air Force 1's Swoosh, and now they're doubling down on the technical embellishment by bringing it to the Air Max Plus. The Plus may still be a year away from celebrating its silver anniversary, but there's no good reason to not start the party early, and this new colourway is ready for the festivities!
The S-shaped carabiner present on the throat features two different levers, but unlike the above-mentioned Air Force 1 there's no bottle opener attachment to be had. Apart from the carabiner, the rest of the shoe features a white mesh and synthetic construction with orange-to-navy gradient fade detailing on the palm-tree inspired upper overlays. Other details include flecked laces, a two-tone Swoosh, multi-colour midfoot shank and tonal mudguards/toe caps.
A release date for this new Air Max Plus has yet to be announced, but it should release sometime in the next few months. A full family size run will be available, and men's pairs are priced at $170.
