The Nike Air Max Plus Gets a Summer Makeover
A cult classic for fans across France, the UK and Australia, the (colloquially known as the TN) continues to arrive in a variety of eye-catching colourways, the much-hyped link-up in 2020 no doubt providing plenty of gas for Nike’s in-line team in recent years.
Still casting an interminable shadow across the sneakersphere, Sean McDowell’s iconic Florida palms trees are now getting a warm weather makeover perfect to wear under the blazing sun (if you’re lucky enough to be in the Northern Hemisphere in the coming months!).
Coming in a classic mix of leather, mesh and nubuck materials, the Air Max Plus adopts a gradient TPU cage moving from sunny yellows to white. The Swooshes, midfoot shanks and mesh uppers are all rendered in various hues of pink, while the mudguards and heels provide a blast of orange for visual distinction. Of course, we also have all the hallmarks of McDowell’s OG blueprints, including the legendary TN badge and seven Air Units in the engine below.
