St. Patrick’s Day is still months away, but there’s always plenty of green colourways to choose from among sneaker models. After previously introducing an Nike Air Force 1 Low and an upcoming Air Max 97, the Air Max Plus now joins the ongoing ‘Malachite Green’ series.

While we initially thought that the sneaker would feature a classic gum outsole, official images reveal a more uniform appearance. In terms of the TPU cages (or ‘veins’ for you Aussies down under), the model adopts a gradual transition from ‘Malachite Green’ to ‘Black’, a motif that’s extending to the classic midfoot shanks – affectionately nicknamed whale tails. Exclusive ‘Malachite’ shades add vibrancy to the tongue tabs, inner lining, and the full-length Max Air cushioning system beneath.

Take a closer look at the Air Max Plus ‘Malachite’ above while we await additional information regarding its release.

In the meantime, make sure to check out how the Nike Air Max Plus became the kingpin down under!
