signature sneakers are certainly enjoying a moment in the sun in recent months. A stalwart of 1990s hoops sneakers, Penny’s catalogue still boasts some of the most impressive designs of the era, the , and the (an unofficial signature) all still doing damage all these years later.
The latest design to arrive is the OG Nike Air Max Penny 1 ‘Home’. Joining the recently announced ‘Orlando’ colourway, the model originally made its debut on the hardwood in 1995. Of course taking aesthetic cues from the Orlando Magic’s indelible ‘Home’ uniform, the colourway introduces a white leather base with eye-catching blue Jewel Swooshes on the uppers. Pinstripe patterns emblazon the tongue, while Penny’s classic 1-Cent logos hit the heels. Down below, Nike’s signature Air Max Bubble reinforces the heels.
Look for the Nike Air Max Penny 1 ‘Home’ to release early 2022. The retail price is $170.
