Official Images: Nike Air Max BW ‘Light Stone’

Update December 8: Official images of the Nike Air Max BW 'Light Stone' have surfaced ahead of its imminent release.

There’s always room for Nike’s Air Max Big Window energy.

Debuting in 1991 as a lightweight alternative to the Air Max 1, Nike continue to pour out the champagne for the Air Max BW’s 30th anniversary, the model appearing in its legendary ‘Persian Violet’ colourway back in July.

Notable for its signature oversized window, the Air Max BW was adopted en-mass in rave caves during the early 2000s, Tinker Hatfield’s tour de force capturing the imagination of gabbers across Europe.

The latest colourway of the Nike Air Max BW to arrive is the ‘Light Stone’ rendition, the subdued palette composed in ‘Light Stone’, ‘Coconut Milk’, and ‘Jade Smoke’. Manufactured in a classic mesh base and suede overlays, the Air Max BW is emblazoned with rubber speckled Swooshes on the sides.

Down below, ‘Sail’ midsoles are enlivened with ‘Beige’ accents, while ‘Jade’ rubber outsoles tie the model together.

Look for the Nike Air Max BW ‘Light Stone’ to release in the coming weeks at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $140.
