There’s Another Gold Nike Air Max 97 in Town
Believe it or not, 2022 is the 25th anniversary of the – even though it feels like yesterday that the model celebrated its 20th! Of course, Team Swoosh haven’t forgotten about their 1997 classic, and we’re already set to receive a and retro. There’s also been a swathe of celebratory GR colourways, with the latest being this ‘Metallic Gold’.
This pair has chosen non-OG colour-blocking, using a mix of gold and black with metallic finishing along the outside and dark midsole, laces and liner. The material mix is stock standard, boasting a mesh base layer and leather overlays. Rounding it out is the usual reflective detailing placed along the piping.
No drop date has been locked in for the Air Max 97 ‘Metallic Gold’ just yet, but we expect them to start rolling out over the coming months.
