Update February 20, 2023: Another Nike Air Max 1 Slide colourway has surfaced – this time with a white, black and grey make-up. The silhouette will likely be available in the coming months.
Clogs, mules, slides. Comfortability now takes priority for many, and have been killing it with their offerings of cushy footwear for years. Their 2023 pushes the boundaries, yes, but their latest might just be the zaniest build yet. Leading up to on March 26, Team Swoosh have turned their legendary into a slide.
The Nike Air Max 1 Slide comes through in the classic ‘Sport Red’ colourway, utilising a white mesh base layer with grey and suede overlays and an embroidered quarter Swoosh. The highlight of this model is the two-tone red-and-white midsole with a see-through Air unit and an AM1 outsole. The Air Max tongue tag rounds out the build.
Nike haven’t locked in a release date for their Air Max 1 Slide ‘Sport Red’ just yet, but the official imagery is out, so drop day shouldn’t be too far away.
