The Nike Air Max 1 Golf Is a Black and White Matter
The party continues in 2023 with the imminent arrival of the ‘big bubble’ Air unit first used in the earliest iterations of the revolutionary runner. Having already sighted the OG version late last year, new images of a simple black and white pair have surfaced.
Besides the larger Air unit, the AM1’s upper has been reconfigured into a much sleeker stance. This is evident in the elongated mudguard and pointier toe cap. A specific edit for the Golf category is its fine tread pattern on the forefoot and heel instead of the usual waffle pattern for the purposes of grip.
Besides that, this pair is as simple as AM1s come. The upper is mostly microfibre, with mesh on the toe box and some nylon on the ankle collar. It’s just about black-on-black, save for the white on the Swoosh, heel branding and midsole.
