The is enjoying some time back in the limelight as the Swoosh continue investing in the , with additional colourways hitting shelves soon. One of those editions is this black and lime green combo that could’ve easily slotted into stores 20 years ago.
The ongoing Y2K aesthetic revival means turn-of-the-millennium oddities such as the Kukini are again embraced for unorthodox design cues and eye-catching colourways. This model achieves both, with its idiosyncratic webbed overlays highlighted in a noxious green that stands out against the black neoprene upper. Other complementary details include the matching neon green Air unit in the heel, surrounded by a speckled foam midsole. The midfoot arch shank is also rendered in the bright shade, adding even more wildness to the already OTT design. But hey, if Nike build it, they will come.
