Nike Are Bringing Back the Air Flight Huarache in 2023

A 1990s basketball classic is returning next year in the form of the . According to internal documents viewed by , the original colourway of the memorable sneaker is slated for a retro run in 2023.
The Air Flight Huarache was initially released in 1992 and adapted technology (which debuted on the eponymous running shoe from the year prior) into a basketball shoe, with a little help from Eric Avar. Its foot-hugging structure and lightweight build delivered a swift sneaker for the Michigan Wolverines ‘Fab Five’ team, adding a formidable entry into Nike’s Flight series.
According to the document, the White/Varsity Purple-Royal Blue-Menta description is a pretty solid indication the original colourway (pictured above is the 1992 edition) will be retroed. There are currently no other references to additional make-ups on the way, but there will likely be more to come.
