Here's a blast from the past... check out these extremely rare Nike catalogue images from way back in 1978, before the company had Swooshed every corner of the globe. Velvety suede blazers, beefy Bruins, nylon Vainqueurs, Colorados, Triumphs, Waffle Racers... it's a kaleidoscope of court, track and field. The shoes were all a bit heavier, and the swooshes just a little wonkier, but it was an important era in establishing Nike's peerless performance credentials.
