If the Young Gunz released 'Can't Stop, Won't Stop' in 2022 instead of 2003, it might've been inspired by New Balance and the 2002R. In the last six weeks alone, the onetime $250 running shoe turned ultra-popular lifestyle model has served as a key piece of the brand's well-received 'Conversations Amongst Us' pack, been reinterpreted by The Basement and turned heads with the forthcoming release of a second set of 'Protection Pack' drops. If that wasn't enough, it's also appeared in supple olive and charcoal suede makeups.

The suede used on each pair's upper is slightly faded for an aged effect – one that's taken a step further on the charcoal colourway thanks to a sail-coloured midsole. Both also boast bright silver hits on their midfoot logos and heels, and use New Balance's N-Ergy gel cushioning technology under the rear of the foot for still-sturdy shock and impact protection.

Both colourways were released at Up There earlier in the week and instantly sold out, but as they're a general release they should begin popping up at retailers globally in the coming weeks as well. If you're looking to get your hands on a pair, be prepared to plunk down $130.
