Nearly $1 Million Of Sneakers Jacked From Truck
Thieves have stolen nearly $1 million USD worth of shoes in what sounds like the sneaker version of Oceans 11. Not content with small-time jobs, some industrious criminals have gone for the big one and stolen a truck’s container trailer full of footwear.
ABC 10 reports that the cargo was recovered after a tip led police to a business in El Monte, where they found about $900,000 worth of the lifted product. Nothing has been said of container's exact contents, but we figure even the largest 18 wheeler couldn't carry $1 million USD worth of Roshes – meaning there might be some high-grade releases being peddled through backdoors in the Los Angeles area.
