After over a decade designing for adidas Originals, we've come to know what to expect from – mad colours, shapes and characters that challenge good taste. It's kind of strange that for someone who creates such weird designs that recent collections have failed to surprise us, we've seen so many blaring fonts and bright cartoony figures that although each line builds on the last and brings new inventions, we've sort of become numb to it. The mardi gras parade's worth of imitators have added to the fatigue too. Has the WTF factor gone? Does JS need to do a line of black on black gear just so we can reset out pupils and tastebuds to appreciate his wackiness again? Plenty of Jeremy Scott fans would say, 'Hellllll no!'
