Under Armour have landed the 7' 10" center out of Harlem for their latest steal in the NBA draft. Mo Bamba was picked number six by Orlando Magic, just a few days after Under Armour inked a deal with Philadelphia 76er Joel Embiid. He said this was now a chance to ‘blaze [his] own trail.’
Bamba also hopes to work with Under Armour in giving back to the local Harlem community from which he hails.
‘Under Armour appreciates how culturally important basketball is in Harlem. They feel that Harlem pride and responsibility that I carry, and are ready to support my long-term vision of giving back to the community that raised me.’
