Miu Miu Sent a New Balance 574 Colab Down the Runway at Paris Fashion Week
Miu Miu may not be the first line that comes to mind when you think of high-end fashion brands that collaborate on sneakers. Frankly, it might not be the second, third, fourth or fifth either. Nevertheless, the Miuccia Prada–helmed outfit did indeed collaborate on sneakers for its spring 2022 collection – specifically a that was recently sent down the runway at Paris Fashion Week.
Arriving in white and tan colourways, the Miu Miu x New Balance 574's key detail is its raw edges. Each seam is left unfinished for a frayed look that's essentially a high-end interpretation of the rough seams seen on popular . Each shoe's tongue also features a large badge with a stacked Miu Miu logo. Both uppers are mostly left monochromatic, and are contrasted by white EVA midsoles plus traditional gum outsoles.
Release dates and pricing information for the Miu Miu x New Balance 574 have yet to be revealed. However, they'll likely hit retailers in the first quarter of 2022, the same time the collection itself does.
