Michael Jordan's Son Shows Off Very Rare Pair of Jordan 6s
Being the son of His Airness is sure to have its many perks, but having access to Jordan Brand's most exclusive offerings must be up there with the best. Marcus Jordan runs the sneaker retailer Trophy Room, and an unreleased pair of Air Jordan 6s recently appeared in the store's extensive display of rare Jordans.
These 6s were created for MJ's basketball alma mater, the University of North Carolina's Tar Heels. However, the Heels never actually got a chance to slip into the Air Jordan 6 'UNC Alternate'. Instead, the college team will be playing in custom make-ups of the Jordan 32 and we've all been left to admire this 6 sample from afar.
The UNC sample is a suede make-up with sole and tongue accents in the Tar Heel's 'Carolina Blue'. The team's six NCAA championship years have been embroidered across the heel. Don't even begin to think about copping this basketball model: it's tightly locked up in the Trophy Room's MJ memorabilia case.
