game-worn sneakers are considered holy grails by many of the GOAT's loyal followers. Sure, you can't wear them, (unless you're a US 12.5 and don't care about your treasured gem crumbling to pieces), but they steal the spotlight in any sneaker collection. A number of Jordan's game-worn sneakers have hit the marketplace recently, including . The latest to go under the hammer is reported to be the earliest of MJ's career shoes to ever hit the open market.

Sporting memorabilia specialists Lelands have just listed a pair of Converse All-Stars worn by Jordan during his college career at the University of North Carolina. The pair, which features the Tar Heels' signature colour combo of white and 'Carolina Blue,' were worn on-court in the team's 1981-82 NCAA Championship season.

Both shoes have been signed by His Airness with the inscription '1982 NCAA Championship,' famously spelled 'Champship' on the right shoe. The crisp white laces aren't original, rather, replacements of the decayed OG laces.

This particular pair has changed hands three times in the past three decades. Bidding opened at $15,000 and at the time of writing, there are 22 days left to go on the auction. Head on over to Lelands to put down a bid!
