Teaming up with the to create a four-piece apparel collection featuring a crewneck, sweatpants, t-shirt and bandana, the range’s message is to celebrate the league, its athletes, and the way it’s broken down barriers in sport and beyond.
Makeway’s founders both have deep personal connections to basketball. They’ve said via Instagram, ‘Our co-founders + owners and grew up loving and playing basketball, which progressed into careers with the Toronto Raptors and Canada Basketball, and they credit their love of sneakers to the sport. Simply put, their friendship, respective careers and business would not exist without women in basketball, and we are excited to share our first Makeway x WNBA drop with you!’
