Luka Dončić Steps Out In Regal Red Air Jordan 11 Low IE PEs
Luka Dončić has gone through a stretch of ups and downs in recent weeks. His Dallas Mavericks have secured the fourth seed in the NBA's Western Confrence and will meet the Utah Jazz in the first round of the playoffs, but in the final game of the regular season Dončić strained his calf, leaving his status for the postseason up in the air. However, Dončić got people talking before he took the court too by sporting a regal red Air Jordan 11 Low IE PE.
Replacing the IE's standard stripped-back mesh upper with a regal red satin, the PE provides an elegant look that's furthered by an ornate gold pattern reaching around its mudguard and toebox. Each tongue supplies gold embroidery of its own as well, with Dončić's 'LD' logo replacing the Jumpman on the left shoe. Down below, an Air Jordan 11 'Bred'-like mixture of white midsoles, black carbon fibre plates and seim-translucent cherry red outsoles rounds off the look.
Dončić has been a Jordan Brand athlete since 2019 and his first true signature shoe, the Luka 1, will reportedly be releasing this June. In the past, he's also recieved special PE iterations of the ,Air Jordan 36, Air Jordan 35, React Elevation and Jumpman Diamond, among others. Off-court, he was the centrepiece of a Foot Locker-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Mindfulness' in 2020 as well. His special Air Jordan 11s won't see a retail release, but you can enjoy them above – and wish him a speedy return to the court as well!
