When the late Virgil Abloh was at the helm of Louis Vuitton, he built a world around the brand, collaborating with a swathe of brands and individuals to curate the new era of luxury fashion. One of the major moves made was linking LVMH with Nike for a partnership that birthed multiple collections of Air Force 1s.

It began in February 2022, when pairs hit the auction house Sotheby’s and sold for hundreds of thousands, with the profit going towards Abloh’s Post-Modern Scholarship Fund. Then in July 2022, it was announced that LV was planning on releasing a massive collection of collaborative AF-1s, which cost between $2,750 and $3,450. Ever since then, there have been plenty of looks at F&F and unreleased pairs, and the latest has just arrived.

This new colourway was revealed by Louis Vuitton PR team member Imed Soussi. Similar to the other pairs, the LV monogram print has been debossed throughout the whole upper, which is also completely adorned in a two-tone green suede. Elsewhere, Abloh’s signature details, such as gold medial scripted branding, appear via a crosshatched Swoosh and lace logos.

These Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1s are a sample, so they probably won’t ever hit shelves. But we’ll keep you updated if we hear otherwise.
