The New Louis Vuitton Clog is a Behemoth!
Fashion Week is a good time for sneakerheads, it allows us all to witness the wild footwear coming out of the big fashion houses and inventive concepts coming out of more obscure designers. We recently caught Martine Rose’s latest Nike colab, breathing new life into the Shox R4 silhouette by distorting its balanced proportions and extending the toe box to a crazy new length! Louis Vuitton also just debuted their Spring 2023 menswear in France and we had a front and centre view at the show. There were plenty of creps for us to ogle at but this gargantuan clog was by far one of the highlights.
Playing off the recent ‘clogcore’ trend, the whole upper has been constructed with a synthetic material, boasting perforations toward the toe. It was hard to miss strutting down the runway due to its large sole unit down below which features multiple debossed Louis Vuitton branding hits. One thing that you may have missed during the show is the monogram bootie with glossy finish in contrasting blue that matches the outsole and midfoot panel. Finishing off this behemoth is the metallic LV emblem on the tongue.
Currently, we don’t have a name for this gigantic clog however we’re expecting it to arrive alongside the other Spring 2023 offerings next year.
