Lilith NYC’s Caudal Lure Arrives in ‘Kali Blue’ and ‘Purple Sunsets’

The sizing disparity issues women face in sneakers are no secret. For decades, women’s feet have been ill-accounted for, and while brands drag their feet to make progress, there are individuals who are taking matters into their own hands. Sarah Sukumaran is among them – the founder of Lilith NYC – a luxury footwear brand by and for women.

Based out of Queens, Sukumaran is striving to help women feel empowered through their footwear and their sense of style and to push the boundaries of fashion and conventional norms. The Caudal Lure has been the hero silhouette for Lilith NYC since their inception, which has now become available to shop in four vibrant colourways. Kicking things off were the ‘Jungle Green’ and ‘Amberlou Brick’, followed by the recently launched ‘Kali Blue’ and ‘Purple Sunsets’. All handcrafted in Portugal, each pair features tonal uppers constructed with top-tier suede, nubuck and natural cowhide leather. Lilith branding finds its home on the heels, with the brand’s logo also found on heel and toebox tags.

You can expect the Lilith NYC Caudal Lure to be comfy from the get-go, thanks to in-heel cushioning and Vibram outsoles. All sneakers are available in extended women’s sizing from women’s US5–14.5, including all half sizes. For the perfect fit, Lilith recommends opting for a half-size up.
