Li-Ning Make SS23 Runway Debut at Pitti Uomo, Present New Soulland Collaboration
are on the rise again in the fashion space by making their runway debut at Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence. This was made possible thanks to their ongoing partnership with Copenhagen label , who together presented some new footwear additions dropping soon.
Officially known as PRE-INTER-POST, the collaborative line this time introduces updated silhouettes in the Shadow and Furious Rider 6, again adopting monochromatic silhouettes to accentuate their organic lines and performance tech.
‘I am excited to explore new directions with Li-Ning,’ said Soulland founder and creative director Silas Oda Adler. 'Soulland is an energy, and this should be the focus. I love designing different silhouettes through customization. I brought modified Li-Ning items into the mix as well as embraced a wider range of product not limited to running. This is the start of something new for Soulland and for Li-Ning.’
The Pitti Uomo appearance also showcased the premium ‘China Li-Ning’ line of footwear, which includes the Yun You Slay slide and the Exceed Infinity. Regular brand collaborator and skate legend Erik Ellington provided some cross-cultural credence by swapping his deck for the runway as he modelled the upcoming releases, which are due to arrive on June 25.
Soulland will also be presenting a second runway show during Copenhagen Fashion Week.
