The Danish-plastic brick brokers formed a fundamental part of many childhoods, and now they’re coming together to team up with the on a new, multi-year project.

With an understandable focus on getting kids to use their imagination and get active, the project is set to begin next year. Although the specifics of what’s included remain under wraps, the project is said to include a series of co-branded products, content and experiences, designed to bring together the world of sport and creative play. The announcement animation may potentially give some hints at what’s to come, as it includes a floating , a Lego (a nod towards the line of legacy runners) and a waffle sole.
