Leaked: Zion Williamson x Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort 'Bayou Boys'
It hasn’t taken long for New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson to build his own distinct sneaker legacy, making use of the Louisiana-inspired ‘Bayou Boys’ theme. We’ve seen his Air Jordan 34 and Air Jordan 35 PEs, and now a more lifestyle-geared release is on the way, in the form of an Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort.
The swampy shades aren’t as prominent on this colourway, with ‘New Orchid’, ‘Lime Blast’, and black making up the colour combo. The upper appears to be constructed with a faded, textured mesh fabric on the side panels and tongues, with eye-catching purple croc skin overlays contributing to the Bayou theme. Black laces and an outlined black Swoosh offset the louder tones.
Additionally, there’s ‘Zoom Air’ tongue labels, as well as ‘Bayou’ and ‘Boys’ text appearing underneath the padded tongues. Down below, there’s a comfort-geared white Zoom Air midsole, contrasted with a Black/Vibrant Green rubber outsole. And it looks like you’ll also be able to customise your look, with extra lime green laces coming with all pairs.
No official release date has been revealed, but the Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort ‘Bayou Boys’ should hit select retailers and Nike before the year’s end. The retail price will be $150.
