Official Images and Release Details of the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97

The recent emergence of new ecomm shots has confirmed the existence of not one, but two colourways of an upcoming collaboration between LA OGs UNDEFEATED and Nike on the Air Max 97. While rumours suggest there could be a third colourway hiding away somewhere.

A previous leak revealed a flight jacket-inspired olive colourway was on the way, and is effectively a retro of the ComplexCon-exclusive edition from 2017. Officially known as ‘Militia Green’, and staying in those halcyon days of three years ago, UNDFTD have reprised the colour-blocking and branding pattern here, adding a thin strip of repeating brand text to the top edge of the AM97’s mudguard, plus the boutique’s distinct five-strikes logo on the pull tabs. On the insole, there’s a co-branded version of this logo that features a Nike Swoosh through the middle.

The second colourway revealed above is a little intriguing. It’s mostly black with some neon yellow accents, almost like an alternate flipped version of the Neon/Japan OG edition. The luminescent colours highlight outsole sections and contrast branding, while a supplementary third shade of ‘Militia Green’ sits above the mudguard branding strip.

With aforementioned rumours of a third colourway doing the rounds, it’s going to be a big drop for whenever that’s actually happening. UNDFTD are locked in for a December 29 release via their webstores, and it’s likely there will also be a Nike SNKRS drop.
