LaMelo Ball Reveals His PUMA MB1 Signature Sneaker On Foot
PUMA continue to make strong moves on the hardwood, with star NBA brand ambassador LaMelo Ball debuting his first signature sneaker – the PUMA MB1 – courtside during his brother LiAngelo Ball’s recent Summer League game. The reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, ‘Melo’ is arguably PUMA’s marquee athlete when it comes to hoops, and his new shoe promises to be one of many in years to come.
Dominated with fiery red uppers, the sneaker looks to be a mix of mesh material, with contoured grooves for a modern look. The tongue displays MB’s personal branding printed out in black, as well as ‘1-of-1’ print and ‘Not From Here’ (his motto) towards the base of the lacing. In a nice touch, the PUMA stripe is subtly placed onto the outer sides of the toe boxes. Down below, the midsoles wear a diamond-like texture on the lateral heels to round out the overall look.
