Kyle Kuzma's New PUMA Deal is Worth $20 Million
Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma has inked a five-year deal with Basketball worth a whopping $20 million.
The deal is also rumoured to include incentives that could increase the value over time.
Expect the 24-year-old to headline the on the 2019/20 NBA season, with collaborative projects also likely in the works.
‘The No. 1 thing I was trying to look for was a little bit more control, a little bit more freedom to do certain things,’ said Kuzma in an . ‘Not to be restricted from an idea standpoint.’
Kuzma is coming off a two-year Nike deal, which paid him just $25,000 annually. He was also with sneaker reseller platform GOAT, with the idea that he'd play in hyped and limited edition sneakers throughout last season. However, those occasions were few and far between, suggesting Nike had the final say over Kuzma’s on-court footwear choices.
