A Full Circle Collaboration: KidSuper x BAPE Unveiled at Paris Fashion Week

KidSuper x BAPE

From bootlegs to the real deal, just debuted an extensive collection with . Created by Colm Dillane, KidSuper is best known as Dillane’s clothing label. However, it covers everything from art shows to music, and film. The New York native’s journey traces back to his childhood when he used to sell his KidSuper shirts to people waiting in line at the BAPE Store. Many of his early designs were inspired by the iconic BAPE Camo. Since those days, Dillane has had many successes, but this full-circle moment is one to celebrate.

The KidSuper x BAPE collection is stacked. It features sneakers, slip-ons, and an extensive clothing capsule. Dillane says, ‘When you are little, you believe you can do anything and that everything is possible - you’re young and you’re free.’ This spirit is manifested in the design of this collection. There are bold colours and a mix of materials. The highlight is a special indigo fabric sourced from a market in Tokyo. Of course, no KidSuper or BAPE project would be complete without camo. The collection makes use of KidSuper’s face print in familiar BAPE colours.

The collection will feature everything from outerwear to headwear and everything in between. There will even be some accessory pieces in available as well. Entitled ‘From a Place I Have Never Been’, the Paris Fashion Week Show (which unveiled the KidSuper x BAPE collection) testifies to Dillane’s vision of pushing the boundaries of what KidSuper can be. This collaboration is deeply authentic and representative of Dillane’s journey. KidSuper and BAPE have not revealed a release date yet but is expected early to mid-2025. Luckily that provides time to start saving for all of these exciting pieces. Stay tuned for more.
