KAWS Reveals Truth About Unreleased Air Jordan 1 Lows

Astute sneakerheads may have seen a pair of Swooshless Air Jordan 1 Lows with telltale KAWS ‘XX’ logos on the heels doing the rounds on the internet. Following the recent leak of a white pair once again, the artist himself has shared the true story about these shoes.

On an Instagram post depicting four colourways ranging from tonal white to grey to black, Brian Donnelly (as his ID likely reads) says, ‘most of the information being said [about the shoes] is simply not true’.

He explains that he designed them with Jordan Brand back in 2017 – but unlike his famous Air Jordan 4 collaboration released that year, these ‘were never intended or available for sale!’

The post concludes with the blunt statement, ‘I’m not sure if there is now counterfeit ones floating around but this is a PSA to say if it’s out there to buy, it’s most likely not authentic so save your money!’
