KAWS for Celebration: A Third KAWS x sacai x Nike Blazer Low Has Been Revealed!
have been going all out with their three-headed colabs in 2021: the Chitose Abe-helmed outfit have worked with , and for new takes on the LDWaffle, tapped for a special high-top Vaporwaffle and even worked with fine artist for ultra-colourful styles. It's the KAWS lineup that's now gaining a new member, with early photos of a third low-cut colab surfacing.
Much like most of KAWS' art, his first two sacai Blazer collaborations were maximalist in style, dressed in either cool blue or sultry red shades. Though this new makeup is certainly not lacking for vivid, doubled-up details, it's more toned-down than the inaugural duo of kicks was, thanks to a khaki base tone and pastel pink/blue accents on its eyestays. There's also hits of blaze orange and blue to be seen, while KAWS' familiar XX graphic appears on the midsole's lateral forefoot and the stacked heel pieces climb almost up to the chopped-down foam collar.
