Update May 25, 2022: Yeezy, Gap and Balenciaga's collection has pushed its launch date back by two days, and it'll now arrive on May 27. The postponement is due to the recent tragedy in Uvalde, Texas. A press release from Yeezy Gap announcing the postponement states 'In light of the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas, we are postponing the Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga launch until Friday, May 27. As we pause, our hearts go out to the families and communities impacted.'

Kanye West's creative endeavours are never-ending, with fingers in multiple pies from music, to footwear, his Donda empire and more. One of his latest projects has been his super lucrative deal with clothing giant GAP, a partnership forged last year which has seen the artist collaborate on his own range. Most notably released has been the 'Round Jacket', in a multitude of colourways.

Earlier this year in January, West announced that he would extend his GAP colab by adding Balenciaga into the mix, with what he referred to as a 'creative exploration', the result of this is known as Yeezy GAP Engineered by Balenciaga. The news wasn't much of a surprise, given West's strong relationship with the luxury brand's creative director, Demna Gvasalia.

Announced via the Yeezy GAP Instagram account, the line which includes everything from hoodies, to t-shirts and track kits now has an official release date and is due to land on its official site, Farfetch, Mytheresa and LUISAVIAROMA on May 25. To celebrate the news, West released a music video for his track, 'Life of the Party', with parts reportedly appearing in a TV commercial for the launch, as per Pitchfork.
