Ye has had a DM shared, stating that Yeezy Day went ahead without his approval! It’s well known that his relationship with adidas has been rocky, the artist took aim at Team Trefoil earlier this year over the Adilette 22 slide. This DM, which has been circling the internet, goes deep into their feud. Mentioning how adidas stole Ye’s colourways, material ideas and hired people that worked for him.

According to Ye, Yeezy Day was fabricated by adidas without the green light from the rapper. The sportswear brand allegedly brought back older models such as the ‘Turtle Dove’ and hired a GM for Yeezy, all without his consent.

Apparently, Kanye West also ‘ordered’ adidas to produce more of the signature Yeezy Slides, however was 'lied to' and told that they didn’t have the production capacity. Meanwhile, Team Trefoil was actually working on their own version, the Adilette 22. The DM concludes with ‘Yeezy is 68% of adidas’ online sales God step in’.

adidas are yet to officially comment on these allegations and it’s unclear if they are entirely true. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker and we’ll keep you updated if anything else surfaces on this matter.
