Kanye Explains Why His Yeezy Slides Didn't Fit

When , a master curator of fire ‘fits, hit 2Chainz’s wedding last week with his heels dangling over the back of his Slides, the internet was quick to roast.

Diet Prada went in with t-shirts (that even Kanye found funny), and got in on the action by taking jabs at the look on her Instagram story.

It all begs the question: how is the guy who designed the footwear not able to get pairs in his size? Unlike Sway, Kanye has the answers. On Twitter, he revealed that he was, in fact, wearing them ‘the Japanese Way’.

Of course, it’s unlikely Kanye actually intended the slides not to fit, and very likely that he just panicked getting dressed. Either way, it’s good to see him owning the narrative.
