Kai Cenat Is the First Streamer to Join the Nike Family

Kai Cenat has announced via his Twitch livestream, where he has over 9 million followers, that he has signed a deal and is officially part of the Nike family.

‘I would like to announce that we are officially a part of the Nike family,’ Cenat told viewers on his livestream on February 9. ‘This has been a long time waiting.’

While Cenat has confirmed that he currently has a deal with Team Swoosh, the specifics of the deal are yet to be be revealed. However, following the announcement, he did reveal he has ‘something big’ planned with Nike for an upcoming in-real-life stream in Las Vegas. This may have been the collaborative apparel that he was giving away. He’s also expected to be playing on February 16 in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game for Team Shannon, which will see most likely see Cenat adorned in Swoosh gear.

The signing of Cenat individually is a massive move for Nike, as he will be the first-ever streamer to be signed to the sportswear brand. In conjunction with RTFKT and .SWOOSH, it shows Nike’s continual move into the digital space.
