First Look: Potential Junya Watanabe x New Balance Collaborations

Have you had your eyes locked on all the footwear that’s taken over the runways at Paris Fashion Week? There’s been stacks to keep up with from a number of brands! Kicking off the autumn/winter 2023 festivities off was Wales Bonner, who debuted a bunch of never-before-seen adidas pairs – both on and off the runway – as well as the Louis Vuitton show, which revealed an upcoming range of eclectic footwear.

New Balance have also been in the spotlight throughout the week, as seen at AURALEE, with the brand taking the chance to send a number of collaborative pastel-toned pairs down the runway, focusing on the model to watch – the 1906. With the week of menswear just about wrapped up for another year, Junya Watanabe got in to reveal even more NBs as part of their collection, also featuring the 1906 as well as the 650. Playing to the theme of their presentation, these potential collaborative pairs bring a stark colour change to the table, with the 650s being dressed in varying hues of black, as well as a duo of 1906s: one blacked out and the other white with black soles.
