Jordan Signs Drake, adidas Signs Kanye
It's rapper trade season in the world of professional sneaker sport and there have been some BIG moves this week. First up, last week, and said he'd scored a better deal overseas with German powerhouse . The suits behind the Three Stripes confirmed that the other day too, not giving much away about what West's role will be in the already strong squad, which includes franchise players Jeremy Scott and Yoji Yamamoto. Beaverton doesn't take a hit and fall down though, and soon made up for its brother's loss by signing up to the roster. We don't know what Drizzy is gonna do for the J team either, but if the special edition Jordan 10s and 12s that were crafted just for Drake's October's Very Own crew are a sign of things to come then we're thinking we could see some wider retro release special editions hit the shelves with Drake's hand involved in the colourways – or maybe he'll just whack his signature on a pair. Or maybe he'll be called in to give the brand's less favoured silhouettes a golden touch? Any which way, right now the world's two biggest rappers and, in Kanye's words, 'performance athletes' have just signed to opposing clubs – these are interesting times ahead
