Update January 3, 2023: The Jordan Brand this week officially unveiled their 'Year of the Rabbit' collection. In terms of footwear, the pack will see the Air Jordan 1 Low OG and Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low (both limited to 5,000 pairs). The Air Jordan 312 Legacy, Air Jordan 23, Jordan Luka 1, Jordan 23/7 and Jordan Series .05 will also make an appearance, with colourways all taking cues from the light green and brown theme. Previously teased models like the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 and Air Jordan 37 are noticeably absent, but expect them to make an appearance closer to the release.

As 2023 approaches, so does the Lunar New Year and, with that, the next cycle of the Zodiac calendar. For the uninitiated, next year marks the ‘Year of the Rabbit’, and as per annual proceedings, there will be celebratory releases to match! This year was the ‘Year of the Tiger’, with Jordan Brand commemorating it with a trio of pairs, including the Air Jordan 1 Low, the Air Jordan 6 Low and the Legacy 312. Each was adorned accordingly, whether through hits of gold, tiger stripes or motifs.

So far, Jordan Brand have unveiled two pairs that will be forming their Rabbit-themed releases, those being the Jordan Legacy 312 (once again) and the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2. Unlike last year’s iterations, the latest are slightly less on-the-nose, with no specific callouts to the festivities to be seen. Perhaps the most Lunar New Year-esque embellishment can be found on the insoles by way of the Zoom Air and Jumpman branding, somewhat reminiscent of gold leaf.

Stay tuned for release details on these upcoming ‘Year of the Rabbit’ Jordan Brand pairs.
