Jordan Brand's April Sneaker Release Lineup for 2021 is Stacked!
Jordan Brand have recently revealed a seriously stacked release rollout for Spring, which features all-time favourites such as the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 5, and even an uber-hyped Air Jordan 6.
Release dates are starting to filter through, but the lineup for the coming weeks has already been sorted. Brace yourselves... Here's a round-up of all the Jumpman heat your can expect for the rest of April!
Air Jordan 5 'Raging Bull'/'Toro Bravo' – April 10
The Air Jordan 5 'Raging Bull' is back, baby! Debuting in 2009 as part of the 'Raging Bull' pack, the OG was an instant classic. Now, returning in 2021 as a standalone release, the name has been switched up, with the new colourway now dubbed the 'Toro Bravo'.
Whatever you're calling it, we think it's one of the hottest AJ5s in a while.
Air Jordan 1 'Hyper Royal' – April 17
One of the prettiest looking in-house renditions of the Air Jordan 1 in recent times, the 'Hyper Royal' colourway is made up of 'Hyper Royal', 'Light Smoke Grey', and white.
Presented in a white leather base with suede overlays, the Air Jordan 1 features a subdued grey Swoosh logo and ankle collar. Up top, we have dark blue OG Nike Air branding, while white midsoles and clean blue outsoles round-out the mighty fine design.
Definitely one of the cleanest AJ1s of 2021.
A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 – April 21
Atlanta-based boutique A Ma Maniére is partnering with Jordan Brand to deliver an Air Jordan 3 collaboration as part of their 'Raised By Women' campaign.
Making use of premium tumbled leather uppers, the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 wraps the silhouette in luxurious grey suede around the toe box, lace collar, and heel. Subtle yellowing on the eyelets and rear emphasise a vintage aesthetic, while the quilted sockliner again present a luxurious palette.
Releasing exclusively at A Ma Maniére, this could be April's toughest cop.
Air Jordan 11 Low 'Legend Blue' – April 24
One of the Air Jordan 11's OG colourways returns in 2021 – in Low form! The Air Jordan 11 Low 'Legend Blue' is a remix of the 'Columbia' colourway that first hit the market in 1996.
The OG debuted on Michael Jordan's feet at the 1996 NBA All-Star Game, and turned heads thanks to a clean combo of white and powder blue. Now, arriving in a low-cut form, the breezy colourway is here just in time for warmer months in the northern hemisphere.
Air Jordan 4 'University Blue' – April 28
With 'University Blue' on the genuine suede leather upper, this new rendition of the Air Jordan 4 combines premium materials with a classic Jumpman colour scheme. The shoe's construction features OG mesh netting on the quarter panel and tongue bottom, with recognisable cement splatter on the midsole, heel tabs and wings, and is completed by a woven jock tag on the tongue. This model comes in new packaging and will be available in men's and grade school sizing.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 'British Khaki' – April 29
Travis Scott continues his collaborative hot streak, turning his attention to another colourway of the Air Jordan 6. Made up of 'British Khaki', 'Sail', and 'Bright Crimson', the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 'British Khaki' is built with suede uppers and crimson branding. The translucent tongues, heel tabs, and outsoles (with co-branding) give the design more aesthetic depth, while the stash pocket (that appears on the side of the shoe's collars) is perhaps the most salient aspect of this AJ6.
Of course, originally appearing in the 'Olive' colourway, Travis Scott's maiden AJ6 collaboration landed in October 2019 after Scott teased the silhouette during Super Bowl LIII.
