Update August 25, 2022: Jordan Brand have confirmed the existence of their sneaker clog hybrid, officially known as the System.23. Designed as a modular shoe adaptable to various conditions, the brand's latest entry into the lounge shoe world will be available on September 8. Hit the link below to cop when they drop.

Jordan Brand's two pillars are cutting-edge performance basketball shoes and historic Air Jordan retros, but they're apparently down with the cosy wave as well! Official images of a new Jordan Brand hybrid model that's equal parts clog and sneaker have surfaced, and it's quite unlike anything we've seen from the Jumpman before.

The outer layer of this new design appears to be built from blown foam, a la popular clog models like the Yeezy line's Foam Runner and the Pollex Clog from Salehe Bembury and Crocs' partnership. In shape, however, it offers the sharp and sleek lines you'd expect to see from a high-end brand like Bottega Veneta.

This soft and cushy cream-coloured outer shell is just one half of this shoe's equation, however. They also come with a removable fabric bootie, reminiscent of the interchangeable innards used on the Air Jordan 27. Here, that bootie features a familiar elephant print – but we wouldn't be at all surprised if the Jumpman offered multiple colours besides the booties that come with the clogs, adding an aspect of customisation into the mix.

Sit tight for more information on this compelling hybrid as it's made available!
